Helixels presents dynamic textural expressions by combining spring-shaped modules with a display that changes shape through the vertical movement of physical objects. The modules arranged between two linear actuators are controlled by changing their height to show different regions of its upper part, causing the visual impressions to diversely change. This exhibition presents physical display expressions using 101 modules, along with variations of interchangeable module designs.
