Fading Biosignatures
滝戸ドリタ / Dorita Takido
When we look at the world through the second eye, that is a thermographic camera, the scenery can be perceived with different outlines. A tiny amount of heat remains that cannot be picked up by an ordinary camera, and traces of life that was there appear as temperature. Living organisms are divided into thermophilic and euthermic animals, each possessing a different temperature map as they reconnect with the outside world. As a first step, this work attempts to visualize the movements of earthworms and convey the relationships between living organisms that are rewoven from temperature.
