Signs of Water
「Signs of Water」は、生命や自然に欠かせない要素である水を使用し、コンピュータ制御と水の物理性を融合させるインスタレーションです。超音波振動を水底から与えることで、水面にピクセル状の隆起を創出します。これらの隆起は、プログラムにより動的に制御され、水面上に多様なアニメーションや形状を生み出します。この作品は、自然と人間の間の豊かな関係を、メディア技術を通じてどのように創造（または再構築）できるかを探求します。
Signs of Water is an installation that merges computer control with the physical properties of water, an essential element of life and nature. Applying ultrasonic vibrations from beneath the water's bottom generates pixel-like swells on the water's surface. These swells are dynamically controlled by computational programming, forming a variety of movements and shapes on the water’s surface. This artwork explores how media technology can create or reconstruct a rich relationship between nature and humans.
