水滴が紙上で時には移動し、時には形状を変えるインスタレーション作品。電場を制御し液体の濡れ性を変化させるエレクトロウェッティング（Electrowetting）という現象をもとに開発された印刷回路による水滴制御手法を用いて、液体に動きを与え、振る舞いを引き出します。本作では、数的の変化のパターンを数種用意し、それぞれの展示台の上でささやかな水滴のパフォーマンスを展開します。私たちの身体や自然を構成する水と計算機、そしてその動きが織りなす振る舞いに、私たちはどのような物語を見出すでしょうか。
This installation artwork makes water droplets sometimes move and change shape on the paper surface. We developed Printed Circuit Boards to impart movements and behaviors to the water droplets based on the phenomenon of Electrowetting, which changes the wetting properties of liquids by controlling the electric field. In this work, delicate water droplet performances will unfold on each exhibition platform with several programmed changing patterns we have prepared. From the behaviors woven by water, computers, and their movements, which constitute our bodies and nature, what kind of story will we discover?
