In this study, we propose a method of forming various three-dimensional objects by combining and bending flat modules processed by a laser cutter or CNC. When the arms inside each module are pulled together and connected, the module transforms into a curved surface, enabling its shape to change by rearranging the arms’ connections. By designing multiple types of modules with arms in different positions and combining these modules, a three-dimensional object can be assembled. As a method to create three-dimensional objects from flat surfaces, as well as a method to flatten the three-dimensional object and easily rearrange its shape, we are attempting to implement it in various fields such as architecture, fashion, and education.
